woke up to fall asleep inside of you,
sodden and empty,
drapes barricading achromatic skies.
and the sunset will never charm me again,
since i didn't know you.
so, tonight I'll set out to some lost place.
perhaps near those hemlocks, i'll go
to where I thought i had it all,
on the day that diana died.
the day I walked away,
thumping like a kick-drum behind me.
thumping like a kick-drum.
thumping like a kick-drum.
